Bnai Darfur organization opens its doors in order to recruit volunteers.
We hope to enhance our current activities, as well as expanding to new domains.
This year we plan to focus on empowering women of the Darfur community of Tel-Aviv.
We have noticed that women of the community were reluctant to enjoy the education possibilities we and other organizations have offered, an aspect that created a widening gap between the mothers and their children that study in the Israeli education system.
In the next few weeks we will renew our English class for women, and thanks to a new funding we raised, we will also open our first computer class for women.
We invite you to take part in this project from the very start and form it with us.
We will also be happy to incorporate volunteers in our other activities:
– Homework assistance to the children of the community.
– Public reception in our office.
– Assistance in the administrative management of the organization.
– Hebrew and English classes to community members.
– Regular visits to families of the community.
We expect our volunteers to commit once a week for at least 4 months. We will be grateful if you can distribute our address among your friends and acquaintances. We will also be grateful for any advice you may have regarding our activity.
